I’m Jeremy Gray, the founder of The Geriatric Entrepreneur.

For most of my career, I worked as a senior finance leader — a CFO in both multinational corporations and smaller businesses. My world was numbers, planning, strategy, mergers, and cash flow. I loved the structure, the dashboards, the clarity of progress at the end of each day.

But when I stepped into entrepreneurship, I discovered something very different. Suddenly, the structure was gone. Productivity wasn’t about ticking off meetings or reports anymore — it was about creating something from nothing. Some days, that felt exhilarating. Other days, it felt lonely and unclear.

That experience led me to build The Geriatric Entrepreneur: a supportive community for anyone ready to launch a post-retirement business. Whether you’re coming from a corporate career, government service, small business, or you are brand new to entrepreneurship, this space is for you.

Here, we focus on:

  • Redefining productivity for this stage of life.
  • Building businesses that fit your goals and lifestyle.
  • Staying healthy — emotionally, mentally, and physically.
  • Enjoying the process of creation, not just chasing hustle.

I know what it’s like to leave the safety of a career and step into something new. My goal is to make sure you don’t have to walk that road alone.

Welcome — I’m glad you are here.

Navigating Life’s Adventures and Inspiring Change

Hello! I’m a globe-trotter at heart and a helper by nature. My life’s adventures have taken me across three continents—Europe, North America, and Asia—infusing my essence with diverse cultures and experiences. Now, my family and I have set our roots in the picturesque landscapes of Vietnam, where I live with my beloved wife and our two joyful dogs.

My free time finds me reading about aviation, reliving my piloting days, or by the water, fishing rod in hand, patiently awaiting nature’s bounty. There’s also a good chance you’ll spot me taking tranquil walks along the beach, soaking in the serene views and the rhythmic sound of waves.

What truly drives me, though, is being a catalyst for change in people’s lives; nothing compares to the fulfillment I get from helping others achieve their dreams. I believe that success is more rewarding when it is shared.

The Role of Community

The Geriatric Entrepreneur provides a welcoming environment to:

  • Learn the fundamentals of launching a business
  • Redefine what progress looks like
  • Share struggles and celebrate wins
  • Stay motivated while staying healthy

You don’t have to scale the mountain alone. You just need a map, a few fellow travelers, and the reassurance that the road you’re building is worth walking.
